4 years!

Last week we had our 4th anniversary!! We were both able to take the whole week off!

On Thursday we went to Denver for the night. The weather was AWESOME in Denver! It was about 65 degrees or so the whole time! Thursday night we went to a great restaurant called Texas De Brazil, it is a Brazillian Steak House. After that we went to Comedy Works downtown, the comedian were just ok, but it was still a lot of fun just being there. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory!! My favorite! I had a Turtle Cheesecake and Michael got a Banana Cream Cheesecake! Delicious!
Friday morning on the way back home, we went to the Coors plant in Golden. It was a really cool place! I would definitely recommend going if you get the chance. It was a self guided tour, it took about a half hour or so, then when we were done we went and sat in the lounge for a while and relaxed!
I have no clue what these things are that we're standing in front of, but Michael wanted our pictures with them! :)
Fun week!

The Stang!

Well, here it is!

After wanting his Mustang here for over 5 years, he finally got it! These aren't the greatest pictures because I took them with my cell phone, but you can still see it!

It is so much fun to drive!

Legends Of The Freakin Fall

OMG! We just watched Legends of the Fall because for some reason Michael wanted to! I'm pretty sure it is the WORST MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! It was depressing and dumb!!

Blech!!

That's my movie review for the day! :)

It's Going Up Fast!

Our new house is going up so fast! We went out on Monday and they had just this one wall up...
We went out tonight (Wednesday) and they have all of the house framed except for the roof!!
It's so much fun being able to walk through the house with all the walls up!!

Another New House...

We signed a contract a few weeks ago on a new house! I'm so excited to finally have a house with a yard! I love our condo, but I never realized how much I would miss having a yard! All of the writing on the floor plan is backwards, but this is what the house actually looks like.
We drove out to the house today and they poured all the concrete for our foundation!! Yea!! We're so excited for November to come so we can move in!!

Vegas!

Well... Vegas was a lot of fun!! HOT, but fun! :) The highest I saw it hit was 106 degrees, which a bunch of local people said was "Not too bad" Blech! We were there for 4 days, and crammed everything into that 96 hours that we possibly could!
We stayed at Bally's Hotel. The hotel was pretty nice, but more than anything, we liked the location, right in the middle of the Strip! We had to stand in line FOREVER to get checked in. As you can tell by the picture, Michael was very excited to be hitting the strip after 8 hours of driving, an hour of waiting to get checked in, and an hour waiting for me to "freshen up!" :)
We ate at Mon Ami Gabi inside Paris Paris. It was a cute little Italian restraunt. I had yummy pasta with some kinda of peas in it! it was good!!

After dinner, we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Michael decided we need to take pictures with the statues while waiting in line! In the first one, he is poking it in the belly button, the second one, he is checking to see if it was a girl statue, or a boy statue!
We got to watch the Bellagio fountains from on top of the eiffel tower, it was really cool to watch from so high up.

The second day we went to the "Secret Garden" at the Mirage. They had dolphins, and tigers, and lions, and alpacas, and a rooster. Kind of a weird mix of animals if you ask me! The little baby tigers were sooooo cute!! We stood there and watched them play for at least half an hour!

This would be Michael trying to be a lion! :)
The Alpacs were so cool looking! I kinda want one! This random rooster was just hanging out in the bushes.
You can't really see him, but Michael is standing in front of this "Revolution" sign that is outside the theatre for "Love" by Cirque Du Soleiel. We didn't go see this show, we just thought the sign was really cool!
Tuesday night, we went to "American Super Stars" at the Stratosphere. It was a pretty fun show. They had, Elvis, Rod Stewart, Tim McGraw, Cristina Aguilera, and Michael Jackson impersonators. The show tickets came with passes to go to the top of the Stratosphere, so we did that before the show started.

We had to make sure we got Starbucks while we were up there. I'm pretty sure we went to at least one Starbucks in every hotel we went to! Starbucks in Las Vegas was soooo expensive!! But worth it for good coffee!
After the show at the Stratosphere, we went to "Improv at Harrah's". It is a comedy club that has 3 different comedians. The comedians change every week. They were all so funny! Much better than I expected them to be! We are definitely going ot go back next time we are in Vegas!
Wednesday morning we went to the Grand Lux Cafe, it is a restraunt owned by the same people as the Cheese Cake Factory. My sister always talks about this restraunt, so I was really excited to go! It was yummy!!

After lunch we went to the Venetian, it is a really pretty hotel to walk through. In the courtyard area, they had this real life statue that you could take pictures with. She did such a good job standing so still!

We also rode on the gondola that goes through the inside of the Venetian. The guy "paddling" our boat was really nice, he made the ride a lot of fun!
Later that night, we went to the Cirque Du Soleil show, O, it was awesome. The stage is a 25 foot deep pool with 2.5 million gallons of water! We decided last minute before O, that we wanted to go to Blueman afterwards, so as soon as O got done we raced out of the Bellagio, where O was at, over to the Venetian, just in time to pick up our tickets and get seated before Blueman started. Michael and I had both seen it before, but it was still awesome the second time (third time for him)!
Before we left Thursday morning, we ordered room service for Breakfast. I got Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and Michael got regular pancakes and coffee, and we split some hashbrowns. It came to $50! I'm pretty sure that's the most I've ever spent on breakfast! It was really yummy though!

This last one is in the car on the way home.
The whole trip was a ton of fun! Michael is wanting to go back again in September! He already has a long list of stuff we need to do! :)
